<lexicon>

New in VoiceXML 2.0. XML grammar element that references an external pronunciation lexicon document.

Currently, the BeVocal VoiceXML interpreter ignores the <lexicon> element.

Syntax

 <lexicon
     uri="URI" 
     type="mediaType" 
 />

Description

Attribute Description

uri
The location of the pronunciation lexicon. Required.

type
Media type of the lexicon document. Optional.

All <lexicon> elements must occur before any <rule> elements in the grammar.
